Memorial weekend is upcoming which is the unofficial start of summer. Gas prices here in South Carolina have risen to an average of $4.31 a gallon. The national average is at $4.59 per gallon. Most people do the bulk of their vacation traveling in summer but with gas prices and other travel costs rising due to record level inflation, this could be a down year travel.
