Will President Biden's plan to boost American Ag production work?

President Biden has announced plans to try and help farmers nationwide boost production. The plan is in response to issues with food exports from overseas due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Part of Biden's plan is for American farmers to use a tactic called "double cropping". The strategy would increase the number of areas that are eligible to be insured for double cropping. The tactic of double cropping is when a farmer plants a second crop in the same year on the same farm land. Many Agriculture experts say double cropping is a risky venture, due to timing and soil conditions. Will Biden's plan work?
