The rise of the Omicron variant is starting to play a factor in how schools operate. On Monday, the Oconee County School District announced that classes for high school students will be moved online for Wednesday-Friday of this week. The District says a surge in covid cases prompted the decision. Greenville County Schools are considered whether to make that move as well.
