By now, everyone has probably heard about the shortage of baby formula nationwide. It has become a crisis, with stores having no stock and delivery services are backlogged. The Federal Government says it is going to loosen USDA restrictions , to up production to combat the crisis. It will be interesting to see how fast increased production can be achieved. Also another factor will be when production is increased and shelves become stocked, will limits on how much you can purchase still be in place? If they are not or are not truly enforced, it's very possible to see people buy up the stock in a similar way that they did toilet paper and hand sanitizer during the early portion of the Covid pandemic. So the question today is, will the baby formula shortage get worse?
