A Western North Carolina man is facing a list of charges after a larceny investigation led to his arrest.
The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office says 32 year old, Charles Matthew Kelly of Cleveland County was arrested Friday after a gun and multiple other items were reported stolen.
Deputies located Kelly as he tried to flee the area on foot. A search of Kelly and the area turned up a stolen gun, more than half an ounce of meth, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Kelly is charged with larceny of a gun, intent to distribute meth, two counts of controlled substance possession and multiple other crimes.
