A Western North Carolina man has been arrested after a bomb threat at a courthouse, late last week. The Macon County Sheriff's Office responded Friday morning to the courthouse in Franklin to investigate the threat.
The 3rd floor of the building was evacuated and a full on search of the building ensued. The North Carolina Bureau Of Investigation was also called in to assist.
The suspect, Jeremiah John Jones was later arrested for making the threats.
