A Western North Carolina man has been arrested in Indiana in connection to a weekend murder in Asheville.
The Asheville Police Department says a fatal shooting was reported Saturday morning on East Oakview Road just after 11:40 AM.
37-year-old Ismael Munoz was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators later identified Arturo Martinez as the primary suspect, and he was arrested later that night by Indiana State Police.
Martinez is set to be extradited back to Asheville to face a charge of 1st-degree murder.
