A Western North Carolina man is facing murder charges after a fatal weekend shooting. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Lentz Road just after 12AM, Sunday.
Deputies say a victim was found dead on arrival. The suspect 23 year old, Preston Nathaniel Moss was present at the scene and was taken into custody.
Moss is charged with murder and is being held without bond in McDowell County.
