A Western North Carolina Man is set to spend more than 2 decades behind bars on drug and weapons charges. Officials say 53 year old, Ronald Keith Goode was sentenced after pleading guilty last year, to charges of distributing meth and multiple weapons violations.
Investigators in Rutherford and Cleveland Counties began looking into Goode in February of 2025. An undercover agent reported making buys on over two pounds of meth and a dozen guns. A search of his home uncovered multiple guns. Goode had prior convictions for trafficking meth here in South Carolina.
He has been sentenced to over 22 years in federal prison, there's no parole or early release in the federal system.
