A Western North Carolina mother is charged in the death of her infant child. Buncombe County Deputies and EMS responded to a home on Rocala Drive north of the Barnardsville Community, just after 2PM, Thursday.
10 month old Enoch Chappell was found with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to Mission Hospital, where he later died.
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office has charged Ciara Frederick with first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
