A North Carolina school employee has been arrested for inappropriate relationship with student. An investigation into 25-year-old Colby Saltz began Wednesday after allegations surfaced of an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
The investigation by the Henderson County Sheriff's Office resulted in Saltz's arrest Friday. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Henderson County Detention Center.
Saltz is charged with Statutory Sex Offense with a Child and Sex Act with a Student. Under North Carolina law, a statutory sex offense charge can apply when the victim is 15 years old or younger and the defendant is at least six years older than the victim.
