An Asheville woman will spend years in prison after pleading guilty to a sex crime against her own child.
Court records show that the Asheville Police Department launched an investigation last year into 31 year old Lynette Lydia Rivera after reports about her sexually abusing the two year child.
Police say explicit videos surfaced of Rivera with the child, which led to her being charged with 1st degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Rivera will serve between a minimum of 44 months and a maximum of 9 and a half years.
