A suspect charged last month in connection to an Upstate murder has filed a request for bail after being denied bond originally. As we previously reported, 20 year old Jessica Barnes was strangled to death in Pickens County.
Her husband Brandon Barnes was charged with her murder. An arrest warrant says Kendall Mims and her roommate Victoria Tippett both helped Barnes dispose of his wife's body.
All three were originally denied bond Mims is charged with accessory to murder after the fact and obstruction of justice. An attorney for Mims has filed a new request for bond and a hearing is set for early next month.
