The Greenville County Coroner's office says a woman was fatally injured Sunday afternoon when she got out of the vehicle she was riding in while it was still moving.
Richelle Latrese Wright, 45, was pronounced dead at the hospital shortly after the incident.
It happened around 2:15 near the intersection of Roper Mountain and Snipes Roads; exactly how is under investigation by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.
An autopsy is scheduled today.
