A woman is dead after a camper caught fire in Oconee County, yesterday morning. Fire crews responded around 5:30 AM to the 400 block of Zion Road in Walhalla.
Firefighters arrived and were able to extinguished the blaze, they then found the body of a woman inside the camper. The Oconee County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 69 year old, Mary Sanford.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office and SLED.
