A woman is injured after a shooting in the Upstate, Wednesday. Union County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a reported shooting at a home in the Lockhart Community.
Upon arrival, deputies had to force entry into the home and found a woman inside a bedroom who had been shot in the chest. She was taken to a hospital to be treated and there's been no update on the victim's condition.
No arrests have been announced and no further details have been released on what may have led to the shooting.
