A domestic dispute evolved into a reported shooting Thursday night. Police have confirmed that a woman was shot on John Street in Pickens following a domestic dispute. The Pickens Police Department took a suspect into custody shortly after the shooting, but has not identified the suspect as of this time.
The woman that was shot was transported to an area hospital, she is expected to survive. Two children were reportedly present during the incident, but the children were not injured during the incident.
