NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Samuel Adams is giving those who get their COVID-19 vaccine a new reason to celebrate.

On Monday, the Boston-based brewing company said it will send $7 to the first 10,000 people who post a photo of their vaccination sticker or bandage to Instagram or Twitter.

“Starting April 12th, post your vaccination sticker or bandage (don't share your vaccination card or post personal information) and we’ll send you $7 through the Cash App for a beer at your favorite bar,” the company wrote on its website.

Those who wish to participate should use the hashtag #shotforsam and tag @samueladamsbeer on social media.

If you’re a lucky winner, Samuel Adams will contact you via direct message for your Cash App information. The company has posted about how to set up the app for those who do not have it.

The offer will run through May 12, 2021 or until 10,000 eligible entries have been received.

Samuel Adams announced the campaign with an online ad featuring “Your Cousin From Boston” getting his COVID-19 vaccine.

Prior to Samuel Adams' contest, Junior’s Restaurant had announced that customers will receive a free mini cheesecake at its Brooklyn location when they show proof of vaccine.

Krispy Kreme is also giving away a free doughnut to those who take their shot.
