Just a teenager, Addi is in a battle for life against an aggressive form of leukemia, and is desperately in need of a bone marrow transplant. Be the Match is trying to help patients like Addi by signing up members of the community for their bone marrow registry in hopes of finding the perfect match for these patients.

Joyce Valdez, Community Outreach Specialist for City of Hope, explains how the Be the Match program works, starting with a simple swab of one's cheek that only takes a couple of minutes. You can text TEAMADDI to 61474 (message and data rates apply) to get a swab kit mailed to you and join #TeamAddi.
