While some fans may have been more weary than others to attend in-person shows, tours still saw a strong showing of overjoyed audiences who were excited to witness a live show again — something that most will never take for granted again.
While touring surely looked different with constant COVID tests, various vaccination requirements, and last-minute postponements, these ten tours saw great success as they landed on Pollstar’s list of the top 10 highest grossing tours of 2021.

10. Jonas Brothers — $42.5 Million
Jonas Brothers had a strong showing at their 2021 Remember This tour. Selling a total of 528,630 tickets for 42 shows across 40 various cities, it’s clear they’re still a ticket that's "Burning Up."

9. Phish — $44.4 Million
Originally set to take place in 2020, Phish was finally able to fulfill their 2021 tour with immense success selling 572,626 total tickets for 35 shows across 18 cities.

8. Dave Matthews Band — $46.0 Million
No surprise to see Dave Matthews Band on this list as the group is always a prime ticket for their highly-loyal fan base. The group embarked on a lengthy 2021 Summer Tour which sold a total of 583,399 tickets for 41 shows across 30 cities.

7. Guns N’ Roses — $47.3 Million
Adding an extra 14 dates to their originally scheduled 2020 tour, it’s clear Guns N’ Roses was ready to rock and reunite with fans after a year off the road. The group sold 351,339 tickets at an average price of $134.75 as they performed 23 shows across 21 cities.

6. Los Bukis — $49.7 Million
This band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacán saw major success, landing in the top 10 of 2021’s highest-grossing tours. The Mexican grupera grossed $49.7 Million selling a total of 357,343 tickets for 9 shows across 6 cities.

5. Dead & Company — $50.2 Million
Dead & Company hit the road for a massive North American tour over summer and fall which prompted performances at several Major League Baseball stadiums including Citi Field, Citizens Bank Park, and Wrigley Field. The group sold a total of 588,658 tickets for 31 shows across 25 cities.

Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer joined forces for The Hella Mega Tour selling a whopping 659,062 tickets. The tour grossed 67.3 million with 20 shows across 20 various cities.

Selling the highest number of tickets, but landing in the #2 spot for gross is Harry Styles. At only 27-year-old, Styles has established a widespread, loyal fan base who bought a total of 669,051 for 39 shows across 30 cities. WOW!

No surprises here! The Stones still remain one of the most sought-after tickets in tin live music. The group grossed a massive $115.5 Million selling 516,624 total tickets for 12 shows across 11 cities. The average ticket cost $223.56.
