PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have an agreement in place to trade wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders for third- and fifth-round picks in this year's draft, according to multiple reports early Sunday morning.

Reports also say Brown will get a new contract worth $50.125 million over three years, with a guaranteed $30.125 million, making him the highest-paid receiver in the league.

The agreement ends a weeks-long saga during which the disgrunted wide receiver tried to force a trade and the Steelers looked to recoup some value. The Raiders, whose coach Jon Gruden is a known admirer of Brown's, long had been considered the front-runners.

The trade cannot become official until March 13 when the new NFL year begins.

Brown, who was reportedly reluctant to comply with a potential trade to the Buffalo Bills late last week, indicated via social media Saturday night that Oakland was his trade destination.

The Steelers now have 10 total picks in next month's draft, but reportedly will have $21 million in dead money on their salary cap in 2019 resulting from the trade.

The Steelers and Raiders do not meet during the 2019 regular season.
