You better be careful who you decide to invite over your house... they may have some "Bad Habits."

Friends actress Courteney Cox is now well aware of this after receiving multiple "gimp masks" in the mail, courtesy of her Amazon Alexa and singer Ed Sheeran.

Kicking off his latest residency on The Late Late Show this week, Sheeran revealed to James Corden that he’s been playing a long prank on his friend Courteney. After meeting in 2013, the pair became good pals, and Ed even has an open invite to stay at Courteney’s home anytime he's in the Los Angeles area. That was her first mistake. Her second mistake was telling him how amazing she thinks her Amazon Alexa device is.

Ed explained, "She has this Alexa thing in her house, and she goes, 'Isn’t this wonderful? This is my Alexa. I can just order whatever on this.’ So, she walks out of the room, and... do you know what a gimp mask is,” he asked Corden who was quite up to date on his S&M lingo. “So, she walks out of the room,” Sheeran added, "And I go, ‘Alexa, order me a gimp mask.'"

"Unbeknownst to me, Courteney’s assistant found it," Sheeran said. "She opened the post and she finds this mask, and instantly goes, 'Oh, I don't think I was meant to see that' and leaves it on Courteney’s bed. And Courteney comes up and she’s like, 'Where did this come from?'"

“Now when I go back there, I order her another gimp mask. She has maybe, like, 12. I hide them in people’s bedrooms. So, they’ll go in the drawer and find a leather S&M mask,” Sheeran laughed. “She had two people come and look at her piano to try and buy it, two absolute strangers going into her house that I found out about. So, I left a couple of masks on the piano.”

Ed and Courteney have been getting in quite a bit of action behind the piano lately. Aside from them using Courteney's keys to tease Ed's latest single, "Bad Habits," they, along with Elton John and Brandi Carlile got together to sing a version of Elton's hit "Tiny Dancer" for Courteney's Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow. Of course, the lyrics were changed to "hold me closer, Tony Danza," a tribute to her character Phoebe.
