NBA Player Prop Picks for Monday, January 27: Jokic, Cunningham, Hart & Daniels

Best bets for Monday’s NBA slate, featuring Nikola Jokic, Cade Cunningham, Josh Hart, and Dyson Daniels.

Monday’s NBA slate offers several intriguing matchups and opportunities to cash in on player props. With stars like Nikola Jokic and rising talents like Cade Cunningham and Dyson Daniels on the board, there’s no shortage of value to explore. Here are our favorite player prop picks for January 27, complete with stats, trends, and matchup analysis to back each play.

Nuggets C Nikola Jokic Over 52.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Bulls (-105, BetMGM)

Jokic is averaging 53.1 points + rebounds + assists per game this season which is the highest mark since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 55.99 mark in 1971-1972. The Bulls have allowed the most points in the paint per game (55.7), the 4th-most points per game to opposing centers overall and rank in the bottom third of the league in Defensive Rating. Jokic ranks 3rd in scoring, 3rd in rebounding (13.1 rebounds on 21.4 rebounding chances) and 2nd in assists (10.1 assists on 16.5 potential dimes) per game and has gone over 52.5 in 25 of 39 starts (64.1% hit rate).

Pistons PG Cade Cunningham Over 35.5 Points + Assists vs. Cavaliers (-122, FanDuel)

Cleveland has been struggling mightily on the defensive end of the floor lately and owns the 3rd-worst Defensive Rating in the month of January. Cunningham is playing with a chip on his shoulder after getting snubbed from the Eastern Conference All-Star starting lineup and went for 33 points on 14-of-24 shooting with six assists in his only matchup against Cleveland back in October. Cunningham has gone over this 35.5 P+A number in six of his last eight starts and has averaged 28.3 points on 46.2% shooting with 9.8 helpers on 15.0 potential dimes in that span.

Knicks SF Josh Hart Over 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Grizzlies (-110, DraftKings)

I’m definitely going to sprinkle Hart’s triple-double prop (+1200 at FanDuel) since he had five in his last 14 games, but over his last 17 games, he’s gone over this mark 12 times (70.59% hit rate) and has averaged an elite 9.8 boards (on 16.4 rebounding chances) and 5.7 assists (on 10.0 potential helpers) per game to go along with his 14.1 points on 55.8% shooting. This game has a 240.5-point total and is a massive pace-up spot for the Knicks (25th Pace) against the Grizzlies, who play at the fastest Pace in the NBA and 2nd-fastest this century.

Hawks PG Dyson Daniels Over 20.5 Points + Assists vs. Timberwolves (-114, BetRivers)

In three games with Trae Young out, Daniels has averaged 20.3 points and 5.3 assists in 34.7 minutes this season. That’ll be the case tonight against the Timberwolves, where not only Young, but Jalen Johnson will be out with injuries. Zaccharie Risacher, De’Andre Hunter and Larry Nance Jr. are also questionable, so the Hawks might be very shorthanded. In 192 minutes with Young and Johnson off the floor this season, Daniels has enjoyed a 9.08% usage bump to 27.11% and also enjoys a 12.74% assist rate bump to a team-best 27.43%.
