Sadly, there are just three games left in the NFL season. That means for the NFC Championship we’re going big with a crazy long shot same-game parlay that currently has odds of +6000 at BetMGM. Since these teams played a 36-33 game last month, this might be the perfect game for a long shot parlay because there is bound to be some crazy stats put up. Here is the long shot parlay for the NFC Championship Game that looks crazy but is actually possible.
Saquon Barkley 175+ Rushing and Receiving Yards (+180)
In two playoff games, Barkley has 355 rushing and receiving yards, so 175 rushing and receiving yards in the NFC Championship Game would essentially be hitting par for him. Needless to say, +180 odds are quite appealing for a player like Barkley hitting his average. Keep in mind that he had 150 rushing yards against the Commanders in December despite having no receptions and racked up 198 rushing and receiving yards on a Thursday against the Commanders in November. Washington’s defense didn’t have an answer for him during the regular season and the Eagles will keep feeding Barkley the ball until they prove they can get a handle on him, which makes 175 or more rushing and receiving yards a realistic possibility.
Over 54.5 (+185)
As mentioned, a month ago, these teams combined for 69 points in a game. Are we supposed to believe that this isn’t going to be another high-scoring affair? The Washington defense is average at best and likely to have fits with Barkley all day. Meanwhile, the Washington offense is rolling after last week’s upset over the Lions. Despite Philadelphia’s defensive prowess, Jayden Daniels will be confident after throwing five touchdown passes against the Eagles last month that he can have another big day. The Commanders had five turnovers in that game but still put 36 points on the board while Kenny Pickett played most of the game for the Eagles, who settled for a lot of field goals in the second half but still scored 33 points. With all of that in mind, these teams combining for 55 points doesn’t seem like that much of a stretch, which is why we’ve teased the over/under to a larger number.
Dyami Brown 75+ Receiving Yards (+325)
Last month, Olamide Zaccheaus was Washington’s secret weapon, catching five passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns. But look for Brown to be the complementary skill player to have a big game for the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. His role in the offense has increased substantially since the start of December and he’s been huge for Washington in two playoff wins, combining for 187 yards on 11 catches. With his speed, Brown has flashed big-play ability, making 75 yards a fair target. The injury status of Quinyon Mitchell is a concern for the Philadelphia secondary, which still has to worry about Terry McLaurin. That could open the door for Brown to make some big plays down the field.
Zach Ertz Anytime Touchdown (+275)
The Eagles have had a little trouble keeping tight ends out of the end zone this season. Just last week, two different Rams tight ends scored touchdowns against Philadelphia. That bodes well for Ertz, who has been a reliable safety valve for Jayden Daniels late in the season and scored a touchdown in last week’s win over Detroit. In fact, dating back to the Eagles-Commanders Thursday night game in November, Ertz has scored at least one touchdown in six of his last nine games. While he was a non-factor when these teams met in December, Ertz had six catches on seven targets and a touchdown during the November meeting against the Eagles. After the Rams scored multiple touchdowns with their tight ends last week, look for the Commanders to target Ertz in the red zone the way Los Angeles did and expose that weakness.
