NFL Week 16’s Sunday slate presents exciting parlay opportunities for sharp bettors. Whether you’re targeting teasers at advantageous numbers or pairing underdogs with moneyline value, this week’s matchups provide plenty of chances to capitalize. In this article, we highlight two key parlays: a teaser featuring the Jets and Seahawks at inflated spreads, and a moneyline parlay with the Raiders and 49ers. Dive into our detailed analysis and discover why these plays could deliver big returns!
Jets +9 vs. Rams & Seahawks +9 vs. Vikings: -120, DraftKings
I don’t recommend parlays very often because the sportsbooks make a killing off of them in the market, but if there is something that makes sense, they can sometimes be worth a play. I know a lot of people like to bet longshots at huge odds, which is where the books rake in cash since they rarely ever hit, but I like to keep things simple and logical. A two-team teaser at advantageous numbers is something I don’t mind betting now and then.
The Jets are probably one of the least popular plays of the week, as they are essentially poison for the public, and everyone hates them. Now, they are facing a Rams team that has won three in a row, including a win against the Bills. I don’t know a single recreational bettor who is going to take the Jets at a small number. I already bet them at +3.5, and getting them at +9 is clearly something I would like. The Rams are just way too popular this week, and they are due for a let down game.
I look for ways to fade the Vikings on most weeks, as I think they are extremely overrated and have pretty much maxed out in the market at this point. On their current winning streak, they have not beaten a single team with a .500 or above record, and played one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. Seattle got exposed a bit last week by the Packers, getting ripped 30-13 in a blowout loss. Just makes it easier to buy low on them and sell high on the Vikings in this spot.
Raiders (2-12) ML vs. Jaguars & 49ers (6-8) +7.5 at Dolphins (6-8): +128, BetMGM
Talk about disgusting, wagering on the Las Vegas Raiders will make anyone’s stomach turn. This is a team that is 2-12 on the season and hasn’t won in months, and they are a favorite in this game against the awful Jaguars. I don’t see a single person wanting to lay money on the Raiders and would rather take a 3-11 team at plus money to get the win here. However, I think there is a reason that Vegas is the favorite. They are at home, and the oddsmakers know people won’t want to pay for them. Raiders fans will not like this, as they will certainly be rooting for a loss at this point.
The game between the 49ers and Dolphins is lined as a toss up, with some books having the Dolphins as favorites and some having the 49ers as favorites. Play this on a boom that has the 49ers as an underdog and tease them up to a touchdown, and I think you are in good shape here. I simply don’t see Miami winning this game by more than a possession, as they have failed to do that all season. In addition to that, the stock on San Francisco might be at its lowest point in years right now, and I am looking to buy. There is nothing about the Dolphins right now that has me very worried here.
