Staff Betting Picks For Monday February 24

See these juicy NBA staff picks we've found just for you!

We’ve got a nice slate of game games on the NBA slate tonight and after a big weekend in the Association.

And our staff has the best bets for you to consider for this evening!

Dan Karpuc: Bulls PG Josh Giddey Over 1.5 Made Threes vs. 76ers (+100, BetMGM)

As I pointed out in my NBA Player Prop Picks article, Giddey apparently learned how to shoot the basketball. Very quietly, the Bulls PG has made multiple threes in seven of his last eight games in the month of February and is shooting a blistering 48.8% from deep this month (2.6 made threes on 5.4 attempted threes on average). The matchup can’t be better, either. The Sixers allow the most made threes per game (3.46) to opposing point guards and the types of threes they allow align perfectly with Giddey’s strength. This month, he has shot 46.7% on above-the-break threes (1.8 of 3.8 on average) and Philadelphia has allowed the third-highest shooting percentage from that area of the floor (40.2%) along with the third-most made threes (11.6) from that zone. While the Bulls are an afterthought as a team, this is a very important time for Giddey to showcase that he can be a point guard of the future, either in Chicago or elsewhere. Adding this facet of his game is essential and I expect him to be aggressive letting it rip from deep moving forward. Let’s double our money.

Lucy Burdge: Jazz +4.5 vs. Trail Blazers (-110, BetMGM)

The Jazz have covered three of their last four spreads and six of their last seven at home. While the Trail Blazers have failed to cover their last three on the road and four of their last five overall. And the Jazz are averaging more points scored per game than the Trail Blazers, at 112 to the Blazers’ 109. So I like the Jazz to cover this spread tonight.

Kate Constable: Nuggets vs. Pacers Over 245.5 (-110, BetMGM)

This total is set high for good reason—both offenses have been on fire since the All-Star break. The Pacers rank 5th in offensive rating, while the Nuggets sit at 2nd for the season. Both teams also play at a top-10 pace, creating an ideal environment for a high-scoring matchup. The over has hit in four of the Pacers’ last five games and three of the Nuggets’ last four, reinforcing the trend. Expect a fast-paced, up-and-down battle in Indy tonight, with plenty of points on the board.
