Trey's love for music started early. He wasn't even 10 when his mom took him and his older siblings to his first concert, Fresh Fest. His mom was mortified when The Fat Boys led the crowd in a very explicit "call and response." It was the first time Trey had used words like that and the last time his mom took him to a concert. But it was that concert where he saw the power of music. There were thousands of strangers packed inside the arena. They were from different places, dressed, and even talked differently. But, once the music started, they all danced and sang along like old friends at a house party. Young Trey was hooked.

It's been about 20 years since Trey's first radio show in a small Florida town. Since then, he's been able to make a home and friends in some cool places; New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, and now Philly!!
