Actor, TV personality, and professional prize giver-awayer Drew Carey was one of the thousands of Phish phans who descended upon Las Vegas to take in the band's religious experience inside The Sphere during their short April run.

While speaking with fellow comedian Taylor Tomlinson on her late-night game show After Midnight this week, Carey revealed that he was among the lucky throngs of Phish phans who had their minds thoroughly expanded by the jam band’s eye-popping performances at Las Vegas’ The Sphere during their short residency April 18 through 21.

“Drew, if you weren’t being filmed right now, what would you say?” Taylor asked, and flashing back to his time inside the state-of-the-art venue, he answered appropriately enough. Stepping away from his podium and fellow contestants "Weird" Al Yankovic and Reno 911!'s Thomas Lennon, Carey addressed the crowd directly explaining how he, "never saw Phish, didn’t know a Phish tune, and they f***ing blew my mind off so hard.”

But he wasn't finished there. Drew said of the concert experience, “It was like being edged for four days straight. Then right before the face-melting climax at the end of the fourth day, an angel comes down from heaven, Gabriel, and he shoots f***ng heroin in your arm, and he says, ‘Good luck now mother***r!’ And he leaves, and you have an orgasm for 15 minutes while your eyeballs fall out of your head!”

"Next time they play The Sphere, you better not miss it," Carey added. As the room digested his rave review, Thomas Lennon joked, "It's gonna be really neat to watch this later and see what this next thing comes out of," advising the audience, "People will ask you for interviews about the day you were there," for Carey's speech. "You don't have to give them, but you can. HR wants to talk to all of you!"

"That was so great and we can definitely use all of it, absolutely," Tomlinson said. "I don't want you guys to take my next sentence as any indication that we can't use it: Oh, you'd like to pass? That's OK."

Carey similarly posted about seeing Phish at The Sphere on social media, saying “I swear I just talked to God.” Drew then got just as graphic as above, explaining he “Would give you all my money, stick my d*** in a blender, and swear off p**** for the rest of my life in exchange for this. Bro I met God tonight for real. I feel like I just got saved by Jesus no lie.”

In another post, he added, “This is what it must feel like to c** with a p**** Because if it’s even close I’m [flying] to wherever tomorrow and getting the best p**** money can buy.” Finally, he says, “I don’t need to be a man no more [if] it means I can feel like this all the time F***ing keep it bro if I can get this feeling instead That was God at work or something Like it felt like I was being saved by Jesus no lie.”

Unfortunately, Phish currently has no additional dates scheduled for The Sphere at this time. Better start tracking Carey's flights.
