Former NFL general manager Mike Mayock strongly defended Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts on Thursday's 94WIP Afternoon Show with Ike, Spike & Fritz.
"To be sitting there and calling out Jalen Hurts when all he's done is take you to two Super Bowls in the last three years and win the first two games of your season," Mayock said, "Man, I know how hard it is to win in this league."
Through two games this season, albeit two wins, Hurts has thrown for just 253 total yards (31st in NFL) and 0 touchdowns. Hurts is the only NFL starting QB to not throw for a touchdown this season.
