There’s been a lot of talk about Fleetwood Mac hitting the road with two new members, and last night it finally happened. Fans who filed into the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma were treated to a 24-song set. It featured plenty of Fleetwood Mac classics, of course, and also included nods to newcomers Mike Campbell – Tom Petty’s longtime collaborator and bandmate – and Neil Finn of Crowded House.
With Lindsey Buckingham out of the band after being fired, Stevie Nicks did much of the heavy lifting vocals-wise. Seven songs from Fleetwood Mac’s iconic Rumors album made it into the set, including the show opener “The Chain.”
Finn had a chance to shine on lead vocals for the Crowded House hit “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” and Nicks sang “Free Fallin’” in tribute to Petty.
