The most wonderful time of the year is here — Girl Scout Cookie season!
The Girl Scouts San Diego will officially begin their 2019 cookie program this Sunday, January 27th, and cookies will be available until Sunday, March 10th.
This year, there will be
eight flavors of cookies available in San Diego:
- Thin Mints — the classic, chocolate cookie with a chocolate coating and peppermint flavor
- Samoas — another classic, caramel covered cookie with coconut and chocolate
- Tagalong — chocolate, peanut butter, and cookies, how could you go wrong?
- Trefoils — shortbread, simple and delicious
- Do-si-dos — oatmeal sandwich cookie with peanut butter
- Savannah Smiles — lemon cookies with a powdered sugar coating
- Toffee-tastic — buttery cookies with toffee pieces
- Girl Scout S'mores — come on, you know what s'mores are... graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallow
The boxes will be $5 each for most of the cookies, and the two specialty flavors (Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores) will be $6 per box. Did you know the Toffee-tastic are gluten-free? And Thin Mints are vegan!
