In a new post on Instagram, AC/DC has announced that bassist Cliff Williams -- inducted along with the band into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 and officially retired in 2016 -- will be taking the stage with the group at Power Trip. Williams was also a part of the band’s 2020 comeback release, Power Up.

Behind the kit at Power Trip however, drummer Phil Rudd will be replaced by Matt Laug, who in the past has played with artists like Alanis Morissette, Alice Cooper, Slash's Snakepit, and more. Returning singer Brian Johnson, guitarist Angus Young, and his nephew, Stevie Young -- who replaced his father Malcolm in 2014 on rhythm guitar -- are also on the roster.

Take a listen to a snippet of “If You Want Blood” from a recent AC/DC rehearsal with the current line up below.

Power Trip will be hosted where Stagecoach and Coachella also take place, at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California -- October 6 through 8. Judas Priest will be taking the place of Ozzy Osbourne, who had to bow out early due to health issues, with metal masters Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, and TOOL also set to perform.
