Over the weekend, you may have seen that some woman posted a facebook rant full o' bad words about how childless millenials shouldn't be allowed at Disney World because they're trash human beings without feelings and emotions. (I'm paraphrasing). You can read some pieces of it here, and if you want to find the whole rant... welcome to a world of bitterness and hate.
Essentially, she talks about how much she f'n hates childless women because they show up to Disney World dressed like prostitutes and take up space in line and eat all the pretzels and ruin the magical time her precious young son is supposed to be having at the park, even though with a mother like that, I've gotta imagine there isn't much magic anywhere in his world. She's a lot of fun at parties, I'm sure.
As a childless millenial, I'm sorry lady, I'm gonna go buy an annual pass and show up every day just to spite you. Oh, your kid had to wait a little longer to meet Buzz Lightyear? Well some of us have been waiting 20 years since we first saw Toy Story, so your kid can take a back seat. Your child isn't my burden. And in my opinion, this lady needs her Mom and Dad to take her to Disney World sometime soon because she's obviously still an entitled child.
But surprise, some old guy from the New York Post agrees with the woman - saying Millenials have an 'unhealthy' relationship with Disney. I'm sorry, Johnny, that we had happy childhoods full of whimsy and wonder and now have the money to take trips and messy up your day. If I'm gotta get blamed for killing every market from housing, to Applebee's, to doorbells - I'm gonna take every opportunity I can to have a little bit of joy.
