We’re counting down the days to the beginning of the 2026 FIFA World Cup (108 to be exact), during which time North Texas will be inundated with soccer fans looking for places to eat, hang out, and most importantly sleep.

The demand for hotels and short-term rentals is going to be substantial, and Airbnb is offering some incentive to rent out your personal home for the World Cup this summer.

Per WFAA, Airbnb is willing to pay Dallas residents $750 to list their homes for rent during the World Cup, on top of the $4,400 on average you could earn renting during the tournament.

Dave Stephenson, chief business officer at Airbnb, said in a press release, “As the world’s biggest sporting event comes to North America, Airbnb is launching its biggest new host incentive ever.”

To receive that $750, submit your info here, publish your listing, and host a guest by July 31, 2026.
