The Dallas Art Fair was held this weekend in the Dallas Design District, and the event almost went off without a hitch.
Almost.
Video posted online shows the aftermath of a woman bumping into a $25,000 glass sculpture…well at the least the video shows the aftermath.
And it wasn’t pretty.
We understand wanting to get the best, unencumbered view of artwork, but why was a glass sculpture exposed to the elements without any sort of casing or barrier around it?
Either way, all art is up to interpretation. Maybe this shattered piece can now serve as a commentary on safe art installation practices.
