There are many frustrating aspects of air travel, but for some there is nothing worse than dealing with the security checkpoints. From waiting in lines to having to unpack items, security checks can ruin a traveler’s trip before it even starts. Luckily, American Airlines is bringing something to DFW Airport that should make going through security quick and easy.

American Airlines recently announced plans to roll out their Mobile ID feature at DFW International Airport. All travelers will need is a mobile phone, a TSA PreCheck membership, an AAdvantage number, and either a driver’s license or U.S. passport to verify their identification with facial recognition. “We’re helping our customers exchange stress for convenience and saved time, and propelling the travel industry further along the path to a truly seamless customer experience,” said Julie Rath, vice president of customer experience, loyalty, and marketing at American.

According to Dallas Culture Map, the new Mobile ID feature is expected to be added at Miami International Airport, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Washington Reagan National Airport, and other airports later this year. However it will first be implemented at DFW Airport, which hopefully will make traveling less stressful.
