Having a security system is a great way to help prevent intruders from entering a home. However, when that intruder is a wild bear, sometimes cameras and alarms aren't enough to keep them away. Luckily for one family, they had a backup plan; their dogs. Video of a bear entering a home went viral recently, as video shows the bear being chased away by two tiny dogs.
As seen in the now viral video, the bear is spotted in the home's backyard before making its way inside the home. According to boingboing.net, the incident occurred at a home located near the hills of Pasadena, California, where bear sightings are quite frequent. The bear seemed to just want to explore the home, but its adventure was cut short when the family's two terriers come running around the corner, chasing the dog out of the home.
"Young bear visited our Pasadena hillside home and ventured into the house through open kitchen door. Our two small terriers Squirt and Mei Mei said NO," the homeowner captioned the video. The video ends with the bear running away from the home, with the two tiny dogs charging toward it while barking. For those without a security system, small dogs will apparently work as well.
