For a while, it seemed like Salad and Gos were popping up on every corner like they were Starbucks.
However, the company recently revealed they will be shuttering 41 locations across the state of Texas, including all their spots in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and some in Dallas.
Salad and Go CEO Mike Tattersfield said in a statement that the decision to close locations was difficult but necessary.
“We know the change will ultimately give us the foundation we need to grow stronger and make delicious, nutritious food accessible to all,” he said.
According to the Dallas Morning News, details on which of the 10 Dallas-Fort Worth locations will close and when were not shared, but Tattersfield did say despite the closings, Salad and Go’s “presence in Texas will remain strong in Dallas.”
