A new list from Forbes found the worst cities in the nation for "summer travel," and Dallas found its way near the top of the rankings.
Dallas ranked as the 13th worst city for summer travel based on 16 different metrics, including crime rates, hotel prices, average number of extreme temperature days, flight dependability, and numbers of highly-rated restaurants.
We already know DFW is one of the most stressful airports in the US, and according to Chron.com, DFW and Love Field ranked as having "the sixth-highest number of property loss and damage claims during the summer."
Dallas also scored low on its summer weather, as the city "experiences the seventh-highest number of extreme temperature days."
