There’s a sport for any fan in Dallas.  We’re spoiled in that way.

A recent survey from WalletHub ranked Dallas the fifth best sports city in the U.S. for 2026, thanks in huge part to its strong fandom for football, where Dallas ranked second overall in the nation.

Per CW33, across other sports, Dallas ranked 19th in basketball, 26th in soccer, and 17th in hockey.

WalletHub compared 399 cities across more than 50 key metrics related to the five largest sports in the U.S. to determine their rankings.

The top ten sports cities in the U.S. include:

1 – Boston, MA
2 – Los Angeles, CA
3 – Pittsburgh, PA
4 – New York, NY
5 – Dallas, TX
6 – Philadelphia, PA
7 – San Francisco, CA
8 – Kansas City, MO
9 – Washington DC
