There are plenty of great places to eat all throughout DFW. From hole-in-the-wall spots to beloved chains, everyone has their favorites. Of course, any time eaters want to step it up a bit, there are plenty of steakhouses to dine at as well. Now, a DFW favorite has been named one of the 10 best steakhouses in the entire country.
Gayot recently unveiled their list of the 10 best steakhouses in the United States, and though Texas only landed one restaurant on the list, it happened to be one located in the metroplex. Knife, located on Mockingbird Lane was named the eighth best steakhouse in the country by Gayot. According to CW33, the rankings had American Cut Steakhouse Tribeca in New York as the best steakhouse in the country.
As for Knife, Gayot said “Chef John Tesar presents his modern take on the steakhouse at The Highland Dallas. Watch the chefs in action from a seat at the green-tiled counter facing the open kitchen, or settle into one of the booths or tables. The adjacent lounge serves the full menu, while the patio attracts patrons with its cozy outdoor fireplace.” Now, DFW has yet another restaurant to brag about.
