Any time a cat gets stuck in a tree, firefighters are called in to help save the day. However, apparently cats aren’t the only animals the fire department is in charge of saving. The Denison Fire Department recently shared photos of firefighters saving a llama that got stuck in the mud.
On Thursday, a group of firefighters from the city of Denison teamed up to help pull a llama that was trapped in a pile of mud. “It was quite the morning, to say the least! DFR was called to rescue a llama that was stuck in the mud. Our crew worked together and removed the llama safely” the fire department captioned their now viral post.

According to CBS DFW, both the firefighters and the llama were exhausted after the ordeal. Luckily, the llama is expected to make a full recovery after being pulled from the dense mud. Hopefully the llama sticks to dry land from now on.
