As if the near triple digit temps and threats of severe weather aren't enough right now, now North Texans are going to have to deal with dust blowing all the way from the Sahara Desert.
According to WFAA, dust from the Sahara Desert will be making the 5,000 mile trek across the ocean to North Texas during the first week of June.
While Saharan dust is known to bring hazy skies, colorful sunrises and sunsets, it can also cause potential respiratory issues.
The best chances for Saharan dust in the air will be today, Tuesday June 3 with a possible stronger plume of dust on Friday, June 6.
