With The Star in Frisco hosting the American Country Music Awards for the first time, fans in the metroplex knew this year’s show would definitely be big. However, things just got even bigger than anyone could have imagined as this year’s hosts were recently announced. This year, the show will be hosted by country music superstars Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton.

On Thursday, May 11, The ACM Awards will take over the star in Frisco as third time host, Dolly Parton, welcomes Garth Brooks, who will have hosting duties for the first time. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together,” said Parton. The 58th annual ACM Awards will also be streamed on Prime Video, according to Dallas Culture Map.

For those hoping to attend the show, a limited number of tickets are still available. Along with hosting the show, Parton will also premiere the new single from her upcoming rock album. For one night, DFW will be country music’s undisputed home.
