Thanksgiving has come and gone, though there are plenty of folks who were knee-deep in Christmas season even before the turkey hit the table.
One of the most infamous features of any Christmas household is a niece piece of mistletoe hanging in a doorway. Of course, whoever is standing under the mistletoe plants a kiss on their sweetie.
For a group of Dallas teenagers, that's the thought behind their upcoming attempt in breaking a world record. The group behind Jingle Bell Mistletoe wants to break the world record for "most people kissing under mistletoe," and YOU can be a part of it!
The event goes down this Sunday, December 3 at 2pm at Klyde Warren Park. The group needs 500 people to show up, with most importantly $25 to donate to the North Texas Food Bank.
Stella Wrubel, a senior at the Hockaday School, told NewsRadio 1080 KRLD, "We've got it all organized and now we just need sign ups, so you get to break a world record and feed a whole bunch of people for the holidays, which is a fun way to do a lot with a little."
You can register to attend the event, and attempt to break the world record, HERE!
