Dallas might not rank among the best cities in the nation for summer travel, but there are plenty of other spots in Texas that offer fun, incredible experiences.
You might want to pack some wet wipes in your luggage, though.
A recent study from LawnStarter analyzed more than 150 of the largest cities in the U.S., focusing on pollution, living conditions, infrastructure, and resident satisfaction, and found that two prominent Texas cities rank as some of the nation's dirtiest.
In fact, Houston topped the entire list as the dirtiest city in the nation, with LawnStarter finding that Houston is the third most polluted city, ranks third worst in greenhouse gas emissions from large industrial facilities, and has the biggest cockroach problem.
San Antonio wasn't far behind H-Town, ranking as the 7th dirtiest city in the U.S.
Other Texas towns that made an appearance on this list include El Paso (No. 29), Dallas (No. 32) Amarillo (No. 35), and Fort Worth (No. 40).
