Becoming a 'Jeopardy!' champion is impressive, but having a win streak that lasts multiple episodes is what gives a contestant legendary status. Usually those that can string together a number of wins in a row become beloved by the audience. However, the latest 'Jeopardy!' champion is having trouble winning over the audience, and it's due to the way he answers questions.
Matt Amodio is currently on a six game 'Jeopardy!' winning streak, and while some are starting to place him on the list of best contestants ever, many others are calling him "the most annoying contestant ever." Regardless of Amodio's dominant gameplay skills, viewers can't help but focus on the fact that he answers every question with a "What," regardless of what the question is asking. Many called out Amodio during this week's episode, as even questions involving people such as Anna Faris, Jim Parsons and John Cleese, he responded with answers such as "what's Faris," "what's Parsons," and "what's Cleese."
I am impressed with Matt on @Jeopardy but he uses "What's" regardless of if the answer is a thing or a person — for a few nights know. Shouldn't a person always be "who"?!? #mypettyirritants #jeopardy

According to Yahoo, some fans are enjoying Amodio's weird answering quirk, but the majority have turned to social media to complain. For now, fans will have to continue hearing Amodio answer question this way, as his winning streak continues. Hopefully this doesn't lead to more contestants trying out his strategy.
