The year leading up to losing my Mom was the closest I've ever come to relapse. However, the grief of actually losing her was softened by an incredible spiritual gift. My Mom and I shared both addiction and recovery. This lead to the toughest and most beautiful aspects of our relationship. I do not speak for or represent any recovery organization.
