It’s always weird when somebody asks for hotel recommendations in your hometown. You hardly ever stay in hotels where you live, so how would you know what places to recommend?
You can just refer to this list, as Michelin just revealed more hotels in DFW that have been awarded Michelin Keys.
Similar to Michelin Stars for restaurants, hotels earn Michelin Keys with anonymous inspectors, and hotels that are selected “excel in design, architecture, service and personality.”
Per the Dallas Morning News, six hotels in DFW retained their Michelin Keys from last year, and one was added into the fold.
They include:
-Bowie House in Fort Worth
-Hotel Drover in the Stockyards
-Casa Duro on Dallas’ Greenville Ave
-Hotel Swexan in Dallas’ Harwood District
-Hotel ZaZa in Uptown Dallas
-The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas
-The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas
Bowie House was the only DFW hotel to receive two keys; three keys is the highest classification, hotels of which offer “the world's most remarkable and extraordinary stays,” according to Michelin.
