There are many attractions at the State Fair of Texas, but nothing compares to the food served each year. While many Texans have their annual favorites, every year brings new fried treats that amazes all attendees. Now, the rest of the country will finally get to see why the State Fair of Texas is better than all the rest. A new reality series focusing on the food at the State Fair of Texas is set to premiere next month on A&E.
‘Deep Fried Dynasty’ will give viewers a look at the 24 days in the fall where the State Fair of Texas reigns supreme. The show promises to show all the "grease-soaked geniuses" and "big personalities behind the mouth-watering food at the State Fair of Texas." While the cast of the show hasn’t been confirmed, it has been reported that State Fair regulars Abel Gonzales Jr., Cassy Jones and Tammy Stiffler will be a part of the series, according to WFAA.

A&E’s website describes the show as “an inside look at how these imaginative foods come to life and the millions of dollars on the line for these family-run small business... It’s the American Dream, deep-fried, chocolate covered, and wrapped in bacon." That’s something Texans know all about, but soon the rest of the country will too. ‘Deep Fried Dynasty’ is expected to premiere on March 8.
